Welcome to the third week of this Real English project! I hope you enjoyed the pancake's information last week. 

This week I've brought plenty of videos, listenings, readings and pictures about clothes, cities and keeping secrets. Remember, you can have a look at the specific content for your level and/or check the rest of the contents, too. It's up to you! For example, this week I recommend you to watch the video on the social experiment with a 2 Euro T-shirt form the elementary level because it will make you think!

ELEMENTARY

This week's topic: CLOTHES

• VIDEO: this week's video is a social experiment with clothes. It is surprising to see how normal people react to the possibility of buying a 2 Euro T-Shirt from a vending machine in the street. Do you want to find out? Play it on!

• SPEAKING PRACTICE: Buying new clothes. Here you have a video of a shop assistant and a customer in a shop using the most frequent expressions to buy clothes. Pay attention to them and repeat them when the video asks you so. Remember, it is a guided speaking video! Common, try!

• VIDEO-LISTENING: This week we've learnt how to describe a city, and the city we looked at as a model happens to be York! A wonderful and historic city in the north of England, do you want to find out more about it? Watch the video! 

• READING: Remember we've been talking about our small towns here in Guadalajara, well, I've found a great article on several small English Towns which are extremely beautiful. Have a look! 

• PHOTO-CAPTION: Look at the picture and think about your answers to the following questions. 

How is this town (one of the Cotswolds villages) different from your town? Are there any similar towns in Guadalajara?

This week's topic: KEEPING SECRETS

• VIDEO-LISTENING (*not adapted*) Do you like Will Smith? I do! He's a great actor and a highly amusing man. And, well, he is quite fluent in Spanish! Anyway, this is a video from the Ellen Show in which Will plays 'two truths and one lie'. It is specially intersting to pay attention to the truths/lies he shares as he speaks slowly and clearly.
